MHP SE closed the acquisition deal of Ukrainian logistics company KTL Ukraine

Ukraine's largest poultry producer MHP acquired 70% of KK&Sons, which owns the Ukrainian logistics company KTL Ukraine

In September, Yuriy Kosiuk's MHP officially became the legal owner of KK&Sons (70%), which owns the Ukrainian logistics company KTL Ukraine.

The MHP press service noted that this is the holding's first investment in the logistics business.

Oleg Upatov, Director of MHP-Logistics, said that the investment in KTL Ukraine will allow Yuriy Kosiuk's company to scale up in maritime logistics in order to help Ukrainian companies overcome logistics challenges more effectively.

Co-owner of KTL Ukraine Andrey Kuzmin, in turn, added: "I am glad to welcome such a powerful company among investors. I hope that MHP will help the company strengthen its legal, HR and security aspects, increase financial stability and consolidate shipment volumes."

KTL Ukraine specializes in providing freight forwarding logistics services with a focus on export-import transportation by sea. Last year, the company's revenue reached UAH 26.9 million. – 20% less than in 2022, according to Opendatabot.

According to Forbes, the value of the MHP deal with KTL Ukraine could reach $10 million.
