Myronivsky Hliboproduct plans to increase its land bank up to 550 000ha during five years

As of present, the largest chicken producer tills 370 thousand hectares of land plots

Domestic agricultural major Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) announced its plans to substantially increase its land bank. So, the area of ​​agricultural land under tillage by the agro-holding should increase from the current 370 thousand hectares to 550 thousand hectares until 2021.

At this, the company plans to purchase meat processing capacities in the EU and UK until 2023, as stated in the non-financial report of the holding published for 2016. In this way, domestic agricultural major intends to increase its presence in the world food markets with high added value produce.

Myronivsky Hliboproduct is the largest producer of chicken meat in Ukraine. The agro-holding also produces grain, sunflower oil, and other meat products.

Earlier we wrote that MHP is going to buy the third plant in Europe for the production of semi-finished meat products.

In 2016, MHP posted a net profit of USD 69mln against a net loss of USD113 million back in 2015.
