Agricultural holding Nibulon has been included in the ranking of Ukraine’s largest investors among private companies that continue to operate in the domestic market during the war. The ranking was compiled by NV.

According to the company, over the past four years Nibulon’s total investment in the Ukrainian economy has exceeded $80 million, making it one of the largest investors among the country’s agricultural holdings.

The company’s investment strategy is focused on improving the efficiency of its internal value chain and creating a foundation for post-war growth. The main share of investment has been directed toward the modernization of agricultural production, logistics, storage infrastructure, and digital services.

In particular, the company invested $22.5 million in agricultural production, including fleet renewal, digitalization, and productivity improvements. Another $45.4 million was allocated to the logistics segment — rebuilding export infrastructure, establishing the Bessarabska branch, modernizing the transport fleet, and restoring part of its river fleet.

An additional $7.6 million was invested in grain storage infrastructure, the modernization of laboratory equipment, and process automation. Around another $10 million was directed toward automation projects, the development of IT infrastructure, information security, and new services.

A separate investment area has been humanitarian demining of agricultural land. Thanks to €7.5 million in financing from DEG Impulse gGmbH, the company purchased specialized equipment and has already completed demining of more than 7,000 hectares of farmland.

The company also announced a transition to the next stage of the project — the development of water demining. This includes clearing areas of the Black Sea and inland waterways, creating marine demining infrastructure, establishing a service center, and training about 60 specialized professionals.

Nibulon remains one of Ukraine’s largest agricultural exporters and continues its investment programs despite wartime risks and changes in export logistics.
