Platform SETAM to auction porcelain factory

The only porcelain works in Ukraine will be sold because of its impounded property for debts

OpenMarket SETAM (Electronic System for Trading of Impounded Property) put up for sale Druzhkovsky Porcelain Works to be auctioned on 22 January, 2018. 
The lot includes a production complex of the factory with equipment and the company's stock-in-trade.
The last filing date was on 17 January. The starting price of the lot is UAH 151mln (USD 5mln) with a bid increment amounting to UAH 1.5mln. 
Druzhkovsky Porcelain Works was established in 1971 in Donetsk region of Ukraine. It specialises in production of tea and coffee things mainly, as well as other dishware. The factory also produces china and other art works made of porcelain.
The financial performance essentially worsened at the factory after Ukraine's accession to WTO in 2008 and then time financial crisis. 
The company mounted new German equipment for production of a restaurant porcelain dinnerware in 2013. 
Last year in May, Druzhkovsky Porcelain Works became the only porcelain factory in Ukraine and it backed up the import tariffs on porcelein products to secure sales in the local market.
