State Property Fund (SPF) sold 25% stakes of DTEK Dniprooblenergo and DTEK Dniproenergo at domestic burse PFTS. The companies are part of electricity major DTEK associated with the richest tycoon in Ukraine Rinat Akhmetov. The starting price of the DTEK Dniprooblenergo stood at UAH 490mln and the stake was sold for UAH 1bn (USD 38.5mln), as bidding took place among the two participants.
To note, DTEK Holdings Limited holds 51,5% of regional electricity supplier Dniprooblenergo while Larva Investments holds 15.8%.
In the meantime, DTEK purchased the 25% shares of city electricity provider Dniproenergo for the reserved price at PFTS worth UAH 728mln. DTEK hold 72% of Dniproenergo before the trade.
Ornex became a beneficiary company of the abovementioned stakes of the energy companies, according to State Property Fund of Ukraine.
