The State Property Fund of Ukraine has put up for privatization the unified property complex of the state-owned enterprise Chechelnyk Distillery, located in the Vinnytsia region. The electronic auction for the sale of the asset is scheduled for March 27, while registration of participants will remain open through March 26 inclusive. The starting price of the asset is UAH 1.148 million.
The property complex includes 45 real estate assets with a total area of approximately 10,900 square meters. Most of them are located at 17 Parkova Street, Chechelnyk settlement, Haisyn district, Vinnytsia region. At the same time, three real estate assets are located in the city of Kodyma, Odesa region. In addition to the buildings, the asset also includes 17 vehicles and other movable property of the enterprise.
The land plots are not included in the privatization object, so after the purchase the future owner must independently settle the issue of their use in accordance with current legislation. At the same time, the enterprise does not have documents confirming the right of permanent use for part of the land plots, including those under certain buildings in Kodyma and Chechelnyk.
State registers also indicate that the company’s real estate has been placed under arrest as part of consolidated enforcement proceedings, which constitutes one of the encumbrances on the asset.
Chechelnyk Distillery has effectively been non-operational since 2009, and during this period the enterprise has not carried out production activity, generated emissions or waste, or fulfilled state orders or mobilization tasks.
Under the privatization terms, once ownership rights are transferred, the buyer must within six months repay wage arrears and liabilities to the state budget recorded at the time of the sale. The new owner is also prohibited from dismissing employees at its own discretion, except in cases permitted by applicable law.
Potential investors may inspect the enterprise on working days from 08:00 to 17:00 at its location. The auction will take place in the electronic privatization system, and all interested investors will be able to participate in the bidding after prior registration.
