Stevedoring Company with Transshipment Capacity of up to 350,000 Tonnes per Year Put Up for Sale in the Port of Reni

According to InVenture, a port operator with a grain terminal in the Port of Reni is being offered for sale in Odesa region

A stevedoring company operating in the Port of Reni and specializing in port logistics and grain cargo transshipment is being offered for sale in Odesa region. The offer includes the sale of 100% of the company’s corporate rights, while the value of the asset will be determined through negotiations.

The company has the status of a port operator, providing access to the sea and river berths of the Port of Reni. The enterprise is also a resident of the Reni Special Economic Zone, where an investment project for terminal reconstruction has already been approved.

The asset is focused on grain cargo handling and has an estimated transshipment capacity of up to 350,000 tonnes per year. The leased land plot covers 7,500 m². The berth depths allow the company to handle both river vessels and sea-going vessels with a carrying capacity of up to 15,000 tonnes.

The asset includes a floor storage warehouse with an area of 2,000 m² and a height of 12 m. The estimated one-time storage capacity is around 4,500 tonnes of wheat. The facility is located within the second cargo area of the Reni Commercial Sea Port and is privately owned by the company. The distance from the warehouse to the berths is around 500 m.

The warehouse supports cargo intake by dump trucks, as well as via grain throwers and conveyors. The facility is equipped with lighting, equipment connection points, and an external video surveillance system with remote access.

The technical equipment of the complex includes screw and belt conveyors, two ZM-100 grain throwers, two JCB 535 telescopic handlers with grain buckets, 80-tonne truck scales, weighing infrastructure, backup generators, containers for a workshop and fuel storage, as well as staff utility premises.

Unloading into the warehouse can be carried out in several ways: by dump trucks with subsequent pile formation using a loader, through grain throwers, or by screw conveyors. Cargo unloading from the warehouse is organized using telescopic handlers, followed by transportation of the cargo to the berth and loading onto a vessel.

An additional advantage of the asset is the railway track running along the warehouse and the leased land plot. This creates an opportunity to organize a railcar unloading front and expand the company’s logistics capabilities.

The terminal reconstruction project provides for the installation of a silo complex with a capacity of around 11,000 tonnes and the organization of an automated railcar unloading front to the warehouse. Implementation of this project may increase the company’s operational efficiency and expand its transshipment potential.
