Ternopil milk plant will channel UAH 100mln (USD 4mln) into enlarging its production facilities. In particular, a new milk powder production unit will be set at the plant worth UAH 80mln to be absorbed during three years. The other investment funds will be used to expand the production capacities of fresh milk products and butter. The funds are derived from the profits, amortization, and some borrowings, the press service informed. The processing of raw milk will be increased by 20% this year at the enterprise, while the output of milk products will be 30% more compared to 2016, according to the company’s operation plan. The dairy mulls over launching healthy food snacks made of milk which are not yet present in the local market too.
Ternopil milk plant exports casein and butter to Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Latvia, the USA, Georgia, and Morocco. The company was registered back in 2000.
