Two Industrial Parks with Over UAH 1.4B in Investment to Be Created in Kamianets-Podilskyi

Kamianets-Podilskyi will create the Kamianets and Podillia industrial parks with total investment of over UAH 1.4 billion, which are expected to provide around 1,250 new jobs by 2034

The authorities of Kamianets-Podilskyi have approved the creation of two new industrial parks — Kamianets and Podillia — which are expected to attract more than UAH 1.47 billion in investment. Implementation of the projects will create around 1,250 new jobs, expand the city’s industrial base and increase revenues to the local budget.

The relevant decision was adopted by deputies of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council at a session on June 18. The city administration noted that the new industrial sites are intended to host manufacturing, logistics and processing enterprises, as well as other investment projects.

According to Mayor Mykhailo Positko, the Kamianets industrial park is expected to attract up to UAH 835 million in investment. Based on preliminary estimates, up to 750 jobs will be created on its territory between 2028 and 2034, while total revenues to budgets of various levels may reach around UAH 224 million.

The second project — the Podillia industrial park — will be located in the city’s industrial zone on a 10-hectare site. It will serve as the basis for the development of a specialized cluster of metalworking enterprises.

The city council said the park will be implemented as a private investment project based on existing production premises. Total investment in its development is estimated at UAH 640 million. By 2034, the park is expected to create around 500 new jobs.

Local authorities emphasize that the creation of industrial parks is one of the key tools for attracting investment and stimulating the economic development of the community. In addition to new jobs, the projects are expected to support infrastructure modernization, the development of the region’s industrial potential and an increase in tax revenues.

Thus, total investment in the two industrial parks will exceed UAH 1.4 billion, and their launch may become one of the largest industrial projects in Khmelnytskyi Region in the coming years.
