U PARKS CEO IMC to create a corn processing cluster in Ivano-Frankivsk region for $151 million

It is planned to create an industrial park on the territory of the former sugar factory in the Gorodenkovskaya community

According to Bogdan Kobylyansky, head of the Gorodenka community, the deputies of the community have already agreed on the construction of the U PARKS industrial park.

According to the director of U PARKS CEO IMC Valery Kirilko, on the basis of the old sugar plant, it is planned to create a cluster for deep processing of corn and enterprises involved in this production. Such a plant will be the first of its kind in Ukraine and one of the most modern in Europe.

Valery Kirilko clarified that it is planned to build up to 110 thousand square meters. m. industrial and other facilities.

It is noted that investments in the construction of the plant will amount to about $65 million, and about $86 million more will be spent on modern equipment.

Production is planned to start in 3-5 years.

According to Kirilko, the future industrial park has a very favorable location, as there is already a railway line nearby, the necessary communications and ready-made elevator capacities for grain storage.
