German-Japanese mechanical engineering company, Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze (SEBN) intends to open the first phase of the plant for the production of automotive wiring harness in Ukraine.
The plant will be located in the premises of the Khmelnytsky mechanical plant. Opening of the first workshop production is planned in two months. By the end of this year SEBN plans to create 500 new jobs, and further the number of employees will increase to two thousand.
Recall that Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze – manufacturer of cable networks for the Volkswagen group – has opened the first plant of Sumitomo electrician Bordnetze–Ukraine in 2006 in the Ternopil region.
The plant produces solid cable network for the Volkswagen Golf A5, A6, A7, Hybrid, and 2015 mass production started mating for Audi A4 B9.
Then we opened two branch SE bordnettse-Ukraine – Chernivtsi in 2013 and in Chortkiv, Ternopil region in 2013.
In 2017, revenue SE bordnettse-Ukraine exceeded 921 million (in 2016 627,6 million UAH).
