Ukraine’s defense technology cluster Brave1 has launched a new investment platform, Brave1 Invest Portal, aimed at helping Ukrainian defense tech manufacturers connect with investors both domestically and internationally. The new service is designed to streamline engagement between defense technology developers and potential financial partners.
The platform will serve as a directory of Ukrainian companies with market-ready products seeking investment. Investors will be able to explore manufacturers’ technologies, filter companies by technology sector, technology readiness level, and funding requirements, as well as request pitch decks and additional materials, arrange meetings, and schedule product demonstrations.
To access the directory, investors must register and complete a profile specifying their areas of technological interest, preferred companies, willingness to fund specific developments, and expected investment amounts. They will then undergo internal security and compliance screening, including checks for potential ties to Russia and its allies. Investment-related information will be accessible only to verified users.
Ukrainian manufacturers will be able to create company profiles on the platform, describe their products and technologies, specify their funding requirements, and indicate their current fundraising stage. Once approved through moderation, their profiles will become visible to investors. Companies without existing pitch decks or investment materials will be able to receive assistance from the Brave1 team in preparing them.
At the same time, manufacturers will not disclose sensitive technical or operational information in their publicly available profiles. More detailed materials, including investment presentations, will be provided upon individual request.
Brave1 is already advancing international initiatives aimed at attracting funding and establishing partnerships for Ukraine’s defense technology sector. These include the BraveTech EU and Brave France programs, as well as joint projects with US and NATO organizations. The launch of Invest Portal is expected to expand opportunities for Ukrainian defense technology developers to connect directly with potential investors.
