SoftServe, one of Ukraine’s largest IT services companies, has completed the acquisition of international technology company NewVision Software, headquartered in Pune, India. SoftServe announced the closing of the transaction on July 13.
The acquisition will enable SoftServe to significantly expand its service portfolio, strengthen its technological expertise and enhance its global presence, particularly in India’s rapidly growing market. The company said the transaction would also increase its ability to serve international clients regardless of where they operate.
As a result of the acquisition, more than 700 NewVision Software engineers will join SoftServe. The team has expertise in software development, cloud technologies, data analytics, IT consulting, digital product testing and artificial intelligence solutions. NewVision’s senior management will also become part of SoftServe. NewVision CEO Kapil Godani and Chief Operating Officer Balan Ramaswami will retain their leadership positions and continue managing the business.
NewVision Software will continue operating under its own brand as a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftServe.
SoftServe is one of Ukraine’s largest digital engineering and technology consulting companies. It specialises in developing solutions in artificial intelligence, data processing and cloud technologies. Founded in Lviv in 1993, SoftServe currently employs approximately 10,000 people and operates more than 50 offices across regions ranging from Latin America to the Middle East.
The company delivers technology projects for international corporations, including IBM, Cisco, Panasonic, Cloudera and Atlassian. SoftServe has completed more than 20,000 projects and maintains strategic partnerships with Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. In addition, since 2023, the company has been recognised as one of NVIDIA’s leading partners for four consecutive years, confirming its expertise in implementing artificial intelligence solutions.
SoftServe is owned by Taras Kytsmei, Yaroslav Liubinets, Yurii Vasylyk, Taras Verveha and Oleh Denys. Harry Propper serves as the company’s CEO. SoftServe does not disclose its financial results, although Forbes estimated its 2024 revenue at UAH 21–26 billion.
