Ukrainian AI Startup HAPP Secures $50K Angel Investment, Launches $350K–$500K Pre-Seed Round

HAPP, a Ukrainian startup focused on automating customer communication, has raised $50,000 in angel investment at the MVP stage and is opening a pre-seed round targeting $350,000 to $500,000

According to the team, the $50,000 investment enabled them to build a robust version of their AI assistant and test it in real-world business environments — including beauty salons, restaurants, hotels, online schools, and delivery services.

Currently, HAPP handles thousands of inbound calls monthly, resolving up to 87% of all customer interactions. The assistant independently manages bookings, provides consultations, integrates with CRM and PMS systems, and operates without human involvement across phone calls, messaging apps, social media platforms, and websites.

Proprietary AI Infrastructure and Pre-Seed Round Plans

HAPP has announced the launch of a new SaaS platform for automating customer communication via key channels — phone, messaging apps, social media, and websites. The solution operates in real time, requires no scripts, and adapts to the needs of individual businesses.

The team states that the platform is currently in the final stages of testing and will be available to companies within the coming weeks.

“We are developing an infrastructure that enables platform scalability, flexibility in data processing, and enhanced control and customization,” the team at HAPP shared.

About the HAPP AI Product

HAPP is a next-generation AI assistant that communicates with customers in real time using natural language — without relying on scripts or predefined workflows. It understands context, learns from real conversations, and tailors its responses to fit the specific needs of each business.

The assistant is currently being tested across HoReCa, EdTech, healthcare, and service industries. On average, it automates up to 87% of customer inquiries, significantly easing the workload of support teams.

The Problem HAPP Solves

The idea for HAPP stemmed from the team’s personal experience in service-based businesses — where overwhelmed managers, missed calls, and unupdated CRM systems negatively impact customer service and lead to professional burnout.

HAPP addresses this challenge with an autonomous AI assistant that operates 24/7, speaks in natural language, and logs interactions directly into the CRM. This allows teams to focus on higher-value tasks while helping businesses retain customers by eliminating routine communication failures.
