The round was led by venture fund Green Flag Ventures, with participation from a range of Ukrainian and international investors, including Nezlamni Fund, United Angels Network, Freedom Fund, VYTACH, Big Defence, UA1 VC, Varangians, Bulava Capital, as well as private investors.
The raised funds will be used to:
- expand manufacturing and scale products already deployed in active combat zones;
- accelerate the development of new technologies and improve the reliability and stability of communications;
- strengthen the company’s position in both domestic and international defense communications markets;
- expand network coverage for military units, emergency responders, and law enforcement agencies.
With the new funding, HIMERA plans to integrate its solutions into broader defense tech segments where secure, low-probability-of-intercept communications are mission-critical.
HIMERA was founded in 2022 and develops tactical radio systems and other secure communication solutions designed to operate effectively in electronic warfare environments and real combat conditions.
The company’s products demonstrate high resistance to interception and jamming, support mesh networking, and are equipped with advanced data protection protocols, enabling the creation of reliable communications networks for frontline units as well as critical infrastructure environments.
HIMERA is already executing contracts in Europe and the United States, and the new investment will support expansion into additional international markets, where demand for resilient and secure communication systems is rapidly increasing.
The successful completion of this funding round highlights strong investor confidence in Ukrainian defence tech solutions capable of competing globally and strengthening critical infrastructure.
