Ukrainian Venture Fund ZAS Ventures Invests $400,000 in US Startup Robutler

ZAS Ventures has invested $400,000 in Robutler, a US startup building a free collaborative app platform and AI-agent infrastructure

Ukrainian venture fund ZAS Ventures has invested $400,000 in startup Robutler, which is developing a platform offering free software applications for work. Users can not only access applications available on the platform but also modify, improve and create their own versions based on them.

This is ZAS Ventures’ first investment in Robutler, the fund said.

US startup Robutler was founded in 2025 by Volodymyr Seliuchenko, who serves as CEO. The company is headquartered in California. The founder compares the platform to YouTube for software: users gain access to ready-made applications, while developers can publish their own products and allow other members of the community to use them as a basis for creating new products.

The platform brings together applications for working with documents and presentations, design and video, project management, music, games and other tasks. All applications available on Robutler are free to use.

The platform’s model provides application developers with a share of the revenue generated from the use of their products. At the same time, the creator of the original application may also receive compensation if their product is used as the basis for a new version. Revenue is therefore distributed among participants whose developments become part of subsequent products.

According to Seliuchenko, this model represents a shift from the traditional approach, in which users pay to rent or subscribe to software, toward a model in which software products are created collaboratively by the community.

In addition to its application marketplace, Robutler is developing infrastructure for interaction between AI agents. The system is intended to enable such agents to find the applications and other agents they need, interact with each other and use available tools to complete assigned tasks.

ZAS Ventures is a venture capital fund founded in September 2023 by Ukrainians Andrii Zinchuk and Artem Volkhonskyi. The company is registered in the United States and has offices in San Francisco and Kyiv. The fund specializes in early-stage pre-seed and seed investments in startups with Ukrainian founders.
