US game publisher TinyBuild invests $3M in Lviv-based game studio Hologryph

US game publisher TinyBuild announced a $3 million investment in Hologryph, a Ukrainian game studio known for the game Secret Neighbor

The deal will give the publisher TinyBuild a majority stake in the company Hologryph.

Hologryph studio is based in Lviv, and it has 11 employees. The main project of the studio is a multiplayer game, Secret Neighbor, set in the Hello Neighbor universe. The plot of the game tells the story of a group of kids trying to sneak into the house of their creepy neighbor.

As Maksym Khrapai, CEO of Hologryph, told, the team offered the publisher to support the development of a multiplayer game. TinyBuild liked the idea but suggested to change the characters to a neighbor and kids from the game Hello Neighbor to develop this franchise. The point is that, in the summer of 2020, TinyBuild acquired Dynamic Pixels, a studio that developed Hello Neighbor.

The funds raised will go toward supporting and developing Secret Neighbor, as well as the development of a new multiplayer game for PC, new-generation consoles PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
