The news was reported earlier this week by Ukrainian tech blog AIN.UA, which cites Blackstone’s written exchanges with the Cypriot anti monopoly authority as well as an unnamed source close to the deal.
Founded in 2009 by Ukrainian businessmen Anton Krasnyy and Max Polyakov, Murka develops “unique social and mobile game experiences for players in the social-casino genre.” Among its most successful titles are Scatter Slots, Infinity Slots and Slots Era.
According to AIN.UA, Murka has offices in Kyiv (Kiev), Dnipro (previously known as Dnepropetrovsk) and Lviv (Lvov), employ over 100 people in total in Ukraine.
