Viktor Yushchenko acquired a minority stake in the gas production business of Vadim Ermolaev

The third president of Ukraine acquired a stake in the company of businessman Vadim Ermolaev, which is engaged in the extraction of natural gas and condensate

According to YouControl and data from the State Service for Geology and Subsoil Resources, in February Yushchenko acquired an 8.5% stake in the Kyiv company Trends System LLC. According to Youcontrol, 90% of the company's shares are owned by a businessman from Dnipo city, Vadim Ermolaev, and another 1.5% by Vladimir Belousov.

Trends System owns a permit for geological exploration and production of natural gas and condensate at a field in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions.

In 2018, the company received permission from the State Geographical Administration for the production of gas and condensate at the Fedorovskaya area for 20 years. The prospective resources of the field are the production of 795 million cubic meters of natural gas and 116 thousand tons of condensate.

Representatives of the company said that they plan to begin the development of Fedorovskaya Square after the war.

In 2021, Vadim Ermolaev ranked 60th with a fortune of $173 million in the top 100 richest people in Ukraine. A year earlier, Forbes estimated his fortune was $220 million.

Vadim Ermolaev and his Alef group is the main developer of the Dnipo city.
