A.B. Export Import Ltd. to Launch Oil Refining Plant in Ukraine’s Ternopil Region

Ukrainian company A.B. Export Import Ltd. plans to launch a vegetable oil refining and bottling plant in Ternopil region by the end of 2026, with a production capacity of 50 tonnes per day

Ukrainian company A.B. Export Import Ltd. plans to launch the first phase of a vegetable oil refining plant at the Chortkiv-West Industrial Park in Ternopil region by the end of 2026.

Installation of equipment for the first phase has already been completed. Work is currently underway on the installation of the building’s exterior elements and site development. Production is scheduled to begin by the end of 2026.

The first phase of the plant includes an oil refining facility and an oil bottling facility. Production capacity will amount to 50 tonnes of refined oil per day. Total investment in the first phase is estimated at UAH 25 million.

The next stage of the project envisages an investment of UAH 50 million in the construction of a facility for processing sunflower seeds into oil. In the future, the plant will be able to process up to 150 tonnes of sunflower seeds per day.

The project is expected to create 123 jobs. A.B. Export Import Ltd. became the first resident of the Chortkiv-West Industrial Park.

The project provides for the development of a full production cycle, from sunflower seed processing to refined oil production and bottling. The products are planned to be supplied both to the Ukrainian market and for export.

It was previously reported that the first phase of the project, covering approximately 1,000 sq m, was expected to reach production capacity of up to 15,000 tonnes of oil per year. The company plans to further expand its production capacity by processing its own raw materials.
