AMF to invest $10 million in furniture factory construction in Lviv region

$10 million investment: AMF is building a furniture manufacturing plant in an industrial park in Lviv region

An investment project to establish a new furniture manufacturing facility is nearing completion in the Lviv region. The company AMF is investing approximately $10 million in the construction of a factory in the InPark Boryslav industrial park.

Construction of the facility has reached its final stage. Currently, installation of sandwich panels and roof structures is underway for the first phase of production premises covering 10,000 m², while the total area of the future complex will reach 24,000 m². Engineering utilities have already been connected to the site, and work on flooring and window installation is ongoing.

After construction is completed and production is launched, planned for summer 2026, the facility could employ up to 800 workers. The project investor is the furniture manufacturer AMF, which already operates a similar production facility in Dnipro.

The InPark Boryslav industrial park covers 20 hectares and provides the infrastructure required for industrial production, including medium-pressure gas supply, centralized water supply and sewage systems, and a 5 MW electrical substation. The park is designed to attract companies that can utilize the labor resources of the Boryslav–Drohobych agglomeration, with a population of around 110,000 people.

The park’s management company is also preparing a new investment proposal. In 2026, construction is planned to begin on a 12,000 m² production and warehouse complex intended for small and medium-sized businesses. Premises are offered to potential residents at prices starting from $420 per m², and negotiations with investors are already underway.

Additional incentives for investors include tax benefits: in 2024, the Boryslav City Council introduced a preferential land tax rate for industrial park residents for 10 years, starting from 0.25% during the first three years with a gradual increase to 2.1%.

The development of industrial parks is part of the government’s industrial support policy under the “Made in Ukraine” program aimed at attracting investment into manufacturing and creating new jobs.
