Ukrainian technology company Vchasno Group has become the majority owner of the home healthcare service Medix Opika after increasing its stake in the company to 73.5%. This was reported by the group’s press service.

The transaction continues cooperation between the parties that began in 2025, following Vchasno Group’s investment in the development of the medical service. According to YouControl, before the completion of the transaction, Vchasno Group co-founder Mykola Paliienko owned a 41.5% stake.

According to Paliienko, the group’s interest in Medix Opika is driven by the company’s efficient operating model, the potential for business scaling, and the active use of digital technologies in healthcare. He noted that the digitalization of medicine is gradually becoming an infrastructure necessity, while IT solutions make it possible to improve service quality and ensure transparency in interaction with state institutions.

Medix Opika said that integration into Vchasno Group is aimed at improving operational efficiency. Priority areas of development include improving the procurement system, managing the logistics of medical teams, and strengthening quality control over the services provided. At the same time, the company’s brand and management autonomy will be preserved.

By the end of 2026, the service plans to expand its presence in territorial communities and district centres across Ukraine, develop specialized areas of medical care, and increase the volume of services for veterans requiring support after severe injuries. The company notes that it is already working with hundreds of veterans after their discharge from medical institutions.

Founded in 2020, Medix Opika specializes in providing medical services at home and supporting seriously ill patients. The company cooperates with the National Health Service of Ukraine and provides regular medical care, monitors patients’ condition, and trains relatives on how to act in crisis situations.

The service currently operates in 19 regions of Ukraine, serves more than 8,000 patients, and carries out around 35,000 doctor visits per month. The company employs more than 350 medical specialists across various profiles. According to the company, the scale of the service’s operations increased eightfold during 2025.

According to the disclosed data, Medix Opika’s revenue in 2025 amounted to UAH 120 million.

Vchasno Group is one of Ukraine’s largest developers of digital services for businesses. The company’s ecosystem includes the electronic document management service Vchasno.EDO, the software cash register Vchasno.Kasa, the electronic document exchange system for retail Vchasno.EDI, the electronic signature service Vchasno.KEP, and electronic consignment notes Vchasno.TTN. According to the company, its solutions are used by more than 1 million enterprises.

The deal with Medix Opika became another step in Vchasno Group’s expansion of its investment portfolio. In February 2025, the group acquired 80% of YaTax, a reporting service for individual entrepreneurs, and invested $50,000 in RICH, a UK-based startup with Ukrainian roots that is developing a platform to verify the reliability of scientific research using blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies.
