An undisclosed investor from China is looking for ways to build a thermal electric station in Kyiv. according to Volodymyr Prokopiv, administrative secretary of Kyiv city administration. The technical-working project and project capital reconciliation are in a final stage of approvals. The project worth amounts to EUR 1.2bn. A new technology will enable to burn the city garbage to be used as a fuel. The new power station will contribute to reducing the tariffs for customers and resolve the city waste management issues.
