LLC Kryvoozerskyi Feed Mill plans to expand the capacity of its oilseed processing plant in the settlement of Kryve Ozero, Mykolaiv Region, and build a workshop for the refining and deodorization of vegetable oil. The relevant notice has been published in the Unified Register of Environmental Impact Assessment.
According to the project, the company plans to build an oil deodorization and refining workshop with wastewater treatment facilities on the territory of the existing enterprise, a floor storage warehouse for raw materials with an area of 2,600 sq m, as well as install three oil storage tanks with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters each.
After modernization, the enterprise’s capacity will reach 350 tonnes of vegetable oil per day. The plant will carry out a full cycle of sunflower seed and rapeseed processing, including refining and deodorization of the products.
The project also provides for the production of unrefined and refined deodorized sunflower oil, as well as by-products — sunflower husks and fuel pellets made from them.
The project is being implemented on the basis of an existing enterprise in Kryve Ozero, Pervomaisk district, Mykolaiv Region.
LLC Kryvoozerskyi Feed Mill is part of the Oliiatorg group of companies, which specializes in the oils and fats sector. The group’s combined capacities allow it to process up to 100,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds per year.
