OKKO to Acquire Three Wind Farms in Volyn with a Total Capacity of 192 MW

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has granted approval for OKKO Group, owned by Vitaliy Antonov, to acquire a 192 MW wind power project in Volyn region from renewable energy developer UDPR

OKKO (GNG Retail Limited) plans to acquire three wind power plants through its subsidiary, OKKO-DRIVE LLC.

The acquisition involves three companies — Volyn West Wind-1 LLC, Volyn West Wind-2 LLC, and Volyn West Wind-3 LLC — all located in the village of Zaturtsi, Volyn region. All projects are currently in the development phase.

OKKO-DRIVE has received regulatory approval to acquire controlling stakes (over 50% of voting rights) in the charter capital of each company.

The planned combined capacity of the wind farms is 192 MW, according to a statement from OKKO’s press office to Ukrainian News (UNN).

UDPR is an investment and development company specializing in renewable energy, with a portfolio of solar and wind projects. Its beneficiaries are Vasyl Khmelnytsky and Serhiy Yevtushenko.
