Oschadbank will provide Silpo Food LLC, part of Fozzy Group, with a UAH 300 million overdraft facility. The company will use the funds to replenish working capital, including timely settlements with suppliers, helping support the stable operations of one of Ukraine’s largest supermarket networks.
The financing has been structured as an overdraft — a short-term banking facility that allows a company to use funds beyond the available balance in its account within an approved limit. Outstanding amounts under such a facility are automatically repaid as funds are credited to the borrower’s accounts.
In addition to the credit agreement, Oschadbank and Fozzy Group have launched cooperation in merchant acquiring services. The bank has already installed 500 POS terminals in Silpo supermarkets and plans to further expand the payment infrastructure across the retailer’s locations.
Serhii Chernikov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank, said that the launch of cooperation with Fozzy Group represents a strategically important step for the bank, given the group’s significant role in supporting the stability of Ukraine’s food retail market.
Fozzy Group remains one of the largest players in Ukraine’s grocery retail sector. As of January 1, 2026, the group operated 898 stores, including 308 Silpo supermarkets and four Le Silpo delicatessen markets.
Silpo Food LLC is the group’s key operating company, accounting for around 62% of Fozzy Group’s total revenue. The company operates 312 supermarkets with a combined retail area of more than 424,000 sq m and develops 27 private-label brands.
