Polish furniture company Intermeble is considering establishing production facilities at the industrial park in Boryslav, Lviv Region. The project could form part of the company’s manufacturing network expansion and attract a new foreign investor to one of Ukraine’s actively developing industrial parks.
The potential project was discussed during a meeting involving representatives of the Boryslav municipal community, the management company of the InPark Boryslav industrial park, and Polish investors. The prospective investor was presented with the industrial park’s capabilities, as well as the cooperation terms and support that the local authorities are prepared to offer for the establishment of a new production facility.
Intermeble is a family-owned Polish furniture manufacturer with a history spanning more than a century. The company specialises in the mass production of cabinet furniture made from laminated particleboard and offers a broad product range featuring various designs, colours, and textures.
The company is currently seeking new locations to expand its production capacity, with Boryslav being considered as one of the potential sites for the new facility.
The InPark Boryslav industrial park was established on a 20-hectare site and is currently undergoing active development. The first factory for a Ukrainian furniture company is now under construction. The production complex, with a total area of approximately 24,000 m², is expected to be used by resident companies of the park.
Preparations are also underway for the construction of the second phase of the industrial park, comprising a 12,000 m² industrial building. The management company is offering businesses the opportunity to acquire modern production premises at prices starting from USD 420 per m².
Should the project proceed, Intermeble would become one of the first foreign furniture manufacturers to establish production within the Boryslav industrial park, supporting regional industrial development, creating new jobs, and attracting additional foreign investment.
