Serhii Spodin and Yurii Kushnir Become New Co-Owners of limited liability company «Galia Baluvana»

The ownership structure of the ready-to-eat food chain has expanded to include entrepreneur Serhii Spodin and legal expert Yurii Kushnir.

Limited liability company «Galia Baluvana», a Ukrainian franchise network of ready-to-eat food stores, has announced the completion of a shareholder transition. Two new partners—Serhii Spodin and Yurii Kushnir—have officially joined the company as co-owners.

Serhii Spodin is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in construction, agriculture, IT, and manufacturing. Since 2009, he has led the Korobovskyi Poultry Breeding Plant.

Yurii Kushnir is a managing partner at Kushnir, Yakymyak & Partners, a law firm specializing in foreign investment, IT, taxation, and international trade.

The new co-owners will participate in strategic decision-making, while all operational matters—including assortment development, franchisee and supplier relations—will continue to be overseen by CEO and majority shareholder Alla Telyha.

According to Telyha, the finalization of the ownership restructuring marks a fresh start for the company following two years of management turbulence.

The company has also announced the relaunch of its franchise sales program, with plans to significantly expand its presence across new cities by opening over 500 new stores. Growth plans include broadening the product range—with new lines of salads, sandwiches, sauces, grill items, and desserts—launching a logistics hub, enhancing supplier engagement, and providing comprehensive support to franchisees.

As reported earlier, in February 2025, network co-founder Volodymyr Matviichuk exited the business, selling his stake to Telyha. He retained control of 13 company-operated stores and is now focused on developing his own private label brands: MultiCook, Gabar, and MultiBar.
