Volodymyr Kostelman, co-owner of Fozzy Group, has received approval from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to acquire control of the Badyoryi grocery store chain. The decision was adopted on March 26, 2026, the AMCU press service officially reported. According to the document, approval was granted to PJSC “ZNVKIF Benefit” to acquire control of LLC “Nedles,” the company that operates the retail chain.
The Benefit investment fund is directly linked to Kostelman: according to YouControl, he owns 40.2% of the fund’s shares. It is through this structure that the Fozzy Group co-owner is entering the capital of the Badyoryi chain, effectively expanding his influence in Ukraine’s grocery retail market.
The legal operator of the Badyoryi chain is LLC Nedles, which also holds the relevant trademark registration. The company is currently owned by Vitalii Myroshnykov with a 68.75% stake and Ihor Prokhorenko, who owns 31.25%.
The Badyoryi chain itself was founded in Kyiv in 2017 and started with six stores. Over the following years, the company demonstrated rapid growth: by the end of 2025, its revenue had reached UAH 2.8 billion, up 73% year-on-year. At that point, the chain operated 158 retail outlets, while its strategic plans call for scaling the business to around 500 stores by 2030.
Volodymyr Kostelman is one of the key players in Ukrainian retail. He is a co-owner of Fozzy Group, which includes such well-known chains as Silpo, Fora, and Thrash!. His business strategy is focused on developing grocery retail chains, improving operational efficiency, and actively expanding through M&A transactions as well as the launch of new retail formats.
