UCPIH Ltd, part of the Dragon Capital group of companies, received an offer for a guarantee of $10M for ten years from the World Bank’s Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) for investments in Lviv Industrial Park M10. However, the warranty has not yet been approved.
It should be noted that last year MIGA allocated $30M to Ukraine to implement a pilot project for investment insurance. In February this year, it was announced that MIGA would provide up to $200M in trade finance guarantees to the EBRD to support trade operations conducted through state-owned banks in emerging markets and developing countries. Ukraine will be the first country to use this support.
At the same time, the EBRD announced that it would become a 35% owner of the Lviv Industrial Park M10, investing $24.5M.
