Ukrainian AirSlate raised $ 51.5 million with an estimated valuation of over $ 1.25 billion

Ukrainian workflow automation service AirSlate announced it secured $51.5 mln in a deal that values AirSlate at $1.25 bln, thus becoming a unicorn.

Founded by Ukrainian Vadim Yasinovsky and based in the USA workflow automation company airSlate (ex-PDFiller) has raised $51.5 million in a funding round that values the startup at over $1 billion.

G Squared led the equity round with participation from UiPath, making AirSlate the first portfolio company for UiPath’s newly launched, previously unannounced UiPath Ventures arm

As a part of the UiPath investment, AirSlate CEO Borya Shakhnovich said that AirSlate will form a “strategic technology partnership” with UiPath, which will provide resources including technical expertise.

Among AirSlate’s previous investors is the Horizon Capital investment fund, which successfully invested about $10 mln in the company in 2019. The resources raised will be used to increase sales and enter new international markets.

Currently, the company has more than 100 million users and 900 employees.

Thus, Airslate became the fourth Ukrainian unicorn. The previous ones are GitLab, People.ai and Grammarly (valuation of over $13 bln).
