Co-founded in 2023 by Oleksiy Osypenko and Eugene Vyborov, Ability AI is an artificial marketing intelligence platform designed to enhance marketers' workflows through a human-friendly AI assistant. 

The platform operates on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and features specialized agents dedicated to various aspects of marketing, such as strategy formulation, content creation, optimizing landing pages, managing media buying, conducting analytics, and overseeing overall marketing management.

The potential audience of Ability AI is small and medium-sized companies with an annual turnover of about $15-20 million. The startup has released a Strategy Agent for beta testing, with paid packages with more features to be introduced once testing is complete. The full version of the platform will be launched by the end of 2024.

The funding round for Ability.ai was led by SMRK, a Ukrainian venture capital firm. SMRK specializes in supporting Ukrainian startups from seed through Series B stages, typically providing investment amounts ranging from $500,000 to $1.5 million. To date, SMRK has made more than 32 investments and three successful exits: Allset, Apostera, and AmazingHiring.

“I believe Ability AI will empower businesses by accelerating marketing effectiveness. Exciting to see what AI agents can do in such a fast-paced environment,” Partner at SMRK VC, Vlad Tislenko, stated in a press release.

The investment saw participation from Ukrainian VC SID Venture Partners and tech entrepreneurs, including Anthony Venus, Catherine Dahl, Nick Bilogorskiy, Andrey Akselrod, Dominic Schiavone, Vital Laptenok, Deborah McGargle, Joseph Lemay, and Kendall Hope Tucker.

As Forbes reports, Ability AI's current valuation is $10 million.

With the fresh capital, Ability.ai plans to expand its team, enhance product development, and launch its system for public clients in the US and Europe.
