Venture fund for Ukrainian immigrants is launched in Boston, USA

One Way Ventures was founded by Semen Dukach and Eveline Buchatskiy

One Way Ventures will target mainly startups launched by immigrants from Ukraine, told Evelin Buchatskiy. The fund does not make preferences in industries, and looks for digital opportunities everywhere. The head office will be in Boston, the USA. Meantime, the company will look for startuppers all over the world, especially of those who are willing to start international company in the USA. The founders have already financed more than 50 startups all over the world.

Eveline Buchatskiy was born in Brazil and graduated from University of California at Berkely and got her executive MBA from INSEAD. She was the CEO of media company Ekonomika and then moved to Ukraine in 2012 to join EastLabs associated with domestic tycoon Viktor Pinchuk. The incubator normally invested USD 20 000 for the stake of 15% shares in a venture. At this, EastLabs proposed an office space in Kyiv for startuppers, a work out of a development plan, as well as consultations from the experts. After two years in Ukraine, Eveline moved back to the USA and started to work in TechStars together with an immigrant from the USSR Semen Dukach.
