Madoqua Renewables intends to invest 900 million euros and build a waste treatment plant in Ternopil

UkraineInvest and the Dutch-Portuguese company in the field of green energy Madoqua Renewables agreed on investment support for a new investment project in Ukraine fo 900 million euros

Madoqua Renewables intends to build a waste recycling plant in Ternopil. This is a plant for the production of environmentally friendly “green fuel” (methanol) from sugar production waste using wastewater.

The project is expected to create 500+ direct jobs and 2500+ indirect jobs. Madoqua Renewables Holding Limited plans to invest up to EUR 40 mln in the project development stage.

The capital investments are anticipated to be between EUR 300 mln and EUR 400 mln, with a total investment ranging from EUR 800 mln to EUR 900 mln.

Madoqua Renewables, founded in 2016, is a developer and operator of projects that use renewable energy sources and produce environmentally friendly chemicals and gases.
